Sally Scott is a Chiropractor based at Anatomy, Manchester branch.
Dr of Chiropractic, Sally Scott has been working in private practice in the Manchester area for the past 10 years. She is a graduate of the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic and holds a BSc. (hons.) degree in Chiropractic.
A Chiropractic degree involves extensive training in anatomy, physiology and biomechanics, with particular emphasis on the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system.
Chiropractors don’t just crack spines. An initial consultation will comprise a detailed discussion about your pain, lifestyle, and history of the problem, followed by postural, orthopaedic and neurological examinations to get a really good picture of what’s going on and the all important diagnosis.
The treatment that then follows is a combination of specific massage techniques, joint manipulation or mobilisation and consultation on how to make changes which will stretch and strengthen the necessary areas, and postural habits to change and stop the problem coming back again.
Conditions treated include lower back pain, neck pain, cervicogenic headaches, pelvic pain, sciatica and shoulder girdle pain.
Sally’s passion and speciality is treatment during pregnancy and after childbirth. She has helped lots of women struggling with pain in the low back, hips and pubic symphysis to reduce their pain and prepare for birth.
She has completed various post graduate trainings in this area, via the College of Chiropractors, National Childbirth Trust and The Anglo-European College of Chiropractic. As well as treating for musculoskeletal complaints, she also teaches optimal foetal positioning to her pregnant patients in order to promote normal birth.
Sally is a member of the British Chiropractic Association, and is registered with the General Chiropractic Council.
Appointments with Sally can be made directly with her.
